READ POSTCARDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

This town is very cool. Am being shown around by my cousin who is a local - what a lifestyle these Aussies have got. By day we are lounging in the cafes in Acland Street by the water and taking in city views at the great Southbank centre which is packed full of restaurants. At night we are spending time in St Kilda going from one great place to the next.

We just missed the Melbourne Cup but Melbournians are still in party mode. Spent three beautiful days at my cousin's beachouse in Blairgowrie where my uncle sails, it's really only an hour's drive from the city centre, the backbeaches at Portsea are truly magnificent. Melbourne is definitely cooler than Sydney!
